This lesson was created for Earth Hour 2022 but can be used on Earth Day (22nd April), World Environment Day (5th June) or any other day to create awareness about environment. Based around a short text and a video, it also talks about a genre of poetry and encourages the learner to use their critical thinking skills and creativity. While the worksheet is designed for the age group and CEFR level mentioned above, it can be used by any age group and level to learn about Earth Hour and to practise their language skills.

The answer key is provided as a separate document and can be downloaded if required.
